Located nearby are pristine forests, an abundance of deep clean lakes and a variety of accommodation facilities. Bon Echo Provincial Park on Mazinaw Lake is just north of Hunter's Creek on Highway 41 and local family lodges such as Aragian on Kashwakamak Lake and Sunrise Beach Resort and Campground on Mississagogan Lake are close by.
